These commodity products have their place in the market where people are looking for a budget-conscious floor covering or interior finish. They are mainly created for the DIY sector where the fitting cost is irrelevant as the consumer is installing the product themselves.
However, I always find it a little odd when the end user/consumer purchases a product based on price and then pays for professional installation in many cases costing far more than the product itself. This is usually a false economy as it costs the same to fit a professional product rather than a DIY variant.
